To obtain a mold fastening device easily executing the treatment and excellent in a workability without using a molding flask by standing plural supporting columns on the outer periphery of a base plate for laying a mold, arranging pushing means in the supporting columns and pushing the mold through protecting jigs.

Plural supporting columns 6 are stood at near the outer periphery 5 of the round disk-like base plate 4 for laying the mold 2 and fixed by welding. The mold 2 is laid on the base plate 4 and a connecting plate 8 is laid on the upper end part 7 of the supporting columns 6, and the supporting columns 6 and the connecting plate 8 are integrally connected and fixed with bolts and nuts. The pushing means 3 are arranged at almost center parts of the supporting columns and the protecting jigs 13 are arranged between the mold 2 and the pushing means 3. By this constitution, the pushing force per unit area for fastening the mold 2 can do in low and the breakage of the mold 2 with the pushing force can be protected. In the case of manufacturing the protecting jig 13 with a steel plate, etc., this jig becomes strong to heat at the time of pouring the molten metal. Since this mold fastening device is light wt. and easily treated without any troublesome work, this device can be assembled in a short time.
