Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compact brick fixing device for a sliding nozzle which is difficult to loose after fastening, by arranging a cotter mechanism composed of a hooking piece with screw-driving and a catching piece between the side surface of a plate brick and the standing-up wall of a metallic frame. SOLUTION: The plate brick 2 is arranged in the metallic frame 1 and the upper and the lower end surfaces 21, 22 thereof are fixed between the short side standing-up walls 12, 13 of the metallic frame 1 through abutting bolts 4. Further, the cotter mechanism composed of the hooking piece 6 and the catching piece 7 engaged with the plural steps of inclining surfaces, are arranged between the side surface 23 in the width direction of the plate brick and the standing-up wall 14 of the long side at one side of the metallic frame 1. The above catching piece 7 is laid so that the lower end thereof is freely slid in the width direction on the fixed part 9. The hooking piece 6 is engaged so as to be freely slid in the vertical direction to the catching piece 7 by loosely fitting a hook 62 arranged on the surface into a slender hole 72 at the upper end part of the catching piece 7. This hooking piece 6 is shifted with a working bolt 8 screwed in the a screw block 5 to push-fix the plate brick through the inclining surfaces.
