Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic net forming device which automates operations following cutting of a metallic net so as to manufacture the metallic net in full automation.
SOLUTION: An elastic planar work 1a with a prescribed length is formed into a tube with both ends superposed and joined mutually. This device is provided with a clamping means 16, 21 for clamping each of the two ends of the work 1a, moving means 17, 22 for moving for a prescribed distance at least one clamping means 16, 21 close to the other one with the work 1a clamped, reversing means 18, 23 for reversing each clamping means 16, 21 rotatably around its base so as to make them close to each other with the work 1a clamped and to superpose both ends of the work 1a mutually, and a joining means 6 for joining both ends of the work 1a to each other.
