Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a device which can form a stepped groove to a round material in high precision and low cost so as to reduce the lowering of the strength.
CONSTITUTION: The outer peripheral surface of the round material 5 is fitted to the fitting hole 9a of a clamping member 9 and on the other hand, a punch 18 fitted into the punch fitting hole 9b of the clamping member 9 is slid. By this method, the stepped grooves in the diameter direction is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the round material 5 by shearing between the punch part formed at the tip end part of the punch 18 and a die part formed on the inner peripheral surface of the fitting hole 9a overlapped with the punch fitting hole 9b.
