Abstract:
PURPOSE: To achieve significant reduction in cost and size of a device, shorten time necessary for communication between two containers and devise to fully automate the operation by providing an airtight connecting device particularly suitable for product transfer between containers.
CONSTITUTION: An airtight connecting device 14 is mounted on a hopper 12 of a pharmaceutical reactor in order to transfer a powder product P produced within the reactor into a container 10, which is connected to the device 14 with a dual door transfer system 26, 44. The device 14 permits the fully automatic opening of the dual doors, a full open of openings of the hopper and container against each other, and connects these openings with a telescopic pipe 66.
