PURPOSE: To easily and accurately perform the installation by connecting a lower holder for holding a landing sill and an upper holder for holding a door pocket to each other, and arranging means for regulating each horizontal relative position of the landing sill and the door pocket in both the upper and the lower holders.

CONSTITUTION: In an elevator, a supporting means 15 is provided in a car 1. A landing sill 5 for guiding a landing door is held by a lower holder 13, and this holder 13 is supported by the supporting means 15. A door pocket for suspending a landing door is held by an upper holder 14. In this case, both the upper and the lower holders 14, 13 are connected to each other by a connector 16 with a predetermined space. On the other hand, a means for regulating horizontal relative position of the landing sill 5, for example, a stopper 31a of an arm 31 is arranged in the lower holder 13. Another means for regulating a horizontal relative position of the door pocket, for example, a stopper 51a of an arm 51 is arranged in the upper holder 14.
