PURPOSE: To fix a rolled paper always in a normal installing position so that jamming, etc. are prevented, by associating the release of the latching of a slide guide engaged to the rotary shaft of a rolled paper holder, with the closing operation of a door for covering a rolled paper storage compartment.
CONSTITUTION: A rolled paper holder is formed such that a paper roll 33 is inserted onto a rotary shaft 2 and then, both are integrally incorporated together by securing them to each other with the use of flanges 1, 4. Upon the installation of the holder into a storing compartment in an equipment, at first the opening door 21 of the compartment is opened while a slide guide 10 is engaged, through its peripheral stepped part 14, with a latch plate 17 by pulling a knob 16 provided onto the shaft 11 of the slide guide 10, so that the slide guide 10 is locked in a predetermined position. Under the above-mentioned condition, both ends of the rotary shaft 2 are temporarily attached to a stationary guide 8 and the slide guide 10, respectively. Then, the opening door 21 is closed and the latch plate 17 is rotated through a roller 20 by means of an arm 22 for releasing the engagement of the latch 17 with the slide guide 10, thereby the slide guide 10 is moved to a normal position under urging force by a spring 13.
