To provide a joining device in which a mark pitch, etc., of a packaging material prevents the misalignment in joining a strip-like packaging material by alternately operating a pair of packaging material feeders.
In a device in which a succeeding packaging material 3 is wound around a supply shaft 10 of the other packaging material feeder 1 before the supply of a preceding packaging material 3 is completed by one packaging material feeder 1, and a leading end portion of the packaging material 3 is held at a guide roller 2 for changing the direction, and when the supply of the preceding packaging material 3 is completed, one of the guide rollers 2 for changing the direction in each packaging material feeder 1 is pressed against the other, and the leading end portion of the succeeding packaging material 3 is joined with a cut terminating end portion of the preceding packaging material 3, a press roller 14 to press the packaging material 3 against a table 12 side is provided on the upstream side in the packaging material feeding direction of the installation position of a cutter 13 in each packaging material feeder 1.
