PURPOSE: To place buried pieces at the regular position with respect to the model and make it effective and certain to shape a stone in a mold in the accurate manner by connecting an extended stuff to the buried piece and making the extended stuff cooperate with guiding means that can advance/retract along with the buried pieces to guide them and project from the mold at the first position.

CONSTITUTION: When a stone material to be manufactured is put into a mold 4 and when compressing the material with a stamp 5, a buried piece 9 extends under a partition 6 over its full length, and hollows with shape of bevel cut edge are formed at the bottom part of the stone with the part of buried piece 9 projecting from the partition 6. After shaping the stone, the piece 9 is transferred to the left with a set cylinder 15, drawn in completely from the lower part of the partition 6, and the stone shaped in standing position can be mounted on plate 3 under the mold 4 accompanied by the stamp 5 and table 2 that has been moved downward by press. Thus at the position where the piece 9 has been drawn in completely to the left, end of extended part 16 remains in guide bush 17, and the buried piece always takes proper position with respect to the partition.
