To provide a device for manufacturing a thermoplastic resin sheet which does not cause a flaw in the sheet and improves its molding stability in the manufacture of the sheet by an electrostatic application and cooling process as well as a method for manufacturing the sheet.
In the method for manufacturing the thermoplastic resin sheet using the electrostatic application and cooling process, the device for manufacturing the thermoplastic resin sheet is of such a structure that the lower end face of a tape-like electrode wound around a reel on the electrode pay-off side, is paid off from the reel without coming into contact with whatever object positioned right under the lower end face. Also, the method for manufacturing the sheet is provided.
