To attain precise measurement with simple operation by irradiating with luminous flux a solid phase reagent to which inspection fluid is applied, measuring reflection light, and obtaining a measurement value from that signal, a stored reference signal quantity, and calibration curve data and displaying it.
When power is supplied, and a start key is pressed, a transmission circuit 16 is actuated as a timer. Specimen is applied to a solid phase reagent A of an analysis tool B, excess blood is wiped off by a buzzer 28 after approx. 60 seconds, the analysis tool B is set to an analysis portion 2, and a cap 9 is closed. The buzzer 28 resounds after approx. 120 seconds, and at the same time a light source 12 lights. Reflection light on a reacted solid phase reagent A face is photo-electrically transferred by a light detector 13 and inputted to a control calculation portion 5 via an A/D converter 15. Reflectance of the solid phase reagent A face is measured as a relative reflectance against light quantity of a light quantity reference reflection piece light- measured during start key entry. A concentration value is obtained from this relative reflectance and a predetermined calibration curve for the control calculation portion 5, and the measured value is displayed at a display portion 4.
