To provide a device for measuring the outflow amount of a molten glass, which can accurately measure the weight of a molten glass even if the center of gravity of the molten glass is present on any position of a molten glass receiving part.
The measuring device includes the molten glass receiving part, a depositing/discharging unit to discharge the molten glass, a weight measuring unit to output a weight signal of the molten glass, and an arithmetic unit to calculate the outflow amount of the molten glass from the weight signal. The depositing/discharging unit has a weight on one end thereof with the molten glass receiving part on the other end thereof, a rocking member having a support shaft on the center thereof and installed up and down rotatably, and a detector to detect the timing of the deposition and discharging. The weight measuring device has a support frame having a rotary support part, a support receiving part to support the rocking member in the state that the molten glass receiving part installed on the support frame is made nearly horizontal and to restrict the rotation in the direction generated on the rocking member by the weight and allow the rotation in the opposite direction, and weight measuring devices on positions interposing the support receiving part and the rotary support part under the support frame.
