PURPOSE: To provide a device for measuring the shape of a hot-rolled plate.
CONSTITUTION: Looper rollers 2 which have been divided into at least three in the direction of the plate width are installed between hot finishing stands in such a way that they are supported respectively by frame materials 3 so as to be in contact with a metal plate 1 to be rolled, and a driving roller 15 which is turned by a driving motor at a speed of rotation in synchronization with the conveyance speed of the metal plate 1 is installed so as to be into contact with each divided looper roller 2. Load cells 10 are installed respectively at the rear surface of the frame materials 3 supporting the divided looper rollers 2. Thereby, without producing any slip on the surface of the metal plate 1, the distribution of tension inside the metal plate 1 is found with good accuracy, and the shape of the metal plate can be measured.
