Abstract:
To provide an accuracy for reliably feeding a cord and increase the easiness of handling by continuously and automatically measuring a difference (EPLD) between the effective pitch lines of the cord.
A device 10 for hanging the cord 12 to this rotating mandrel 14 comprises drums 19 with different diameters and a feed capstan 18 in a cord route between the rotating mandrel and a cord supply source 11. Encoders 24 and 25 for measuring angular displacements are connected to the drums 19 and the capstan 18. Using these angular displacements, a control means automatically and continuously provides the difference in the effective pitches of the cord 12.
