Abstract:
To provide a plate width adjusting device and a plate width adjusting method for improving the yield of products.
The plate width adjusting device 1 is installed on the production line of a strip 53 and adjusts the strip 53 to a prescribed width and is provided with bridle rolls 2 and 3 for elongating the strip 53 in the transfer direction and adjusting its width by imparting tension to the strip 53 which is transferred on the production line in its transfer direction.
