Abstract:

To prevent image persistence of a display image without sense of incongruity to a viewer.

An image display position controller comprises: a video input part for inputting a video signal; an A/D converter part for converting the video signal into a digital video signal; a controller for moving a display position of the digital video signal according to APL variation and elapsed time; and a display part for displaying the digital video signal at the display position set by the controller, and since the display position of the digital video signal is moved when the APL variation is not less than a threshold value or exceeds the image position holding time, the image persistence of the display image can be prevented without sense of incongruity to the viewer.
