Abstract:
To provide a device and method for controlling a vehicle wherein the safety of the vehicle is ensured when the vehicle collides.
HV_ECU determines a vehicle collision (YES at S100) and executes a program including the following steps based on the results of decision: a step of carrying out high-frequency discharge control (S104) when a system main relay is opened (YES at S102) and a step of waiting until a predetermined time passes (S106) when the system main relay is not opened (NO at S102).
