To provide an optical instrument conveying device capable of conveying an optical instrument while changing the attitude of the optical instrument on a conveyor with a simple structure without using a robot hand and an air cylinder.
This conveying device comprises a first conveyor for conveying the optical instrument, a second conveyor close to a downstream end part of the first conveyor at its upstream end part and having a conveying face at a position lower than the conveying face of the first conveyor to convey the optical instrument, and a rotating member having an upper face at an approximately same height as the conveying face of the first conveyor and mounted close to the downstream end part of the first conveyor at an upper part of the second conveyor, and when the optical instrument is transferred onto the rotating member from the first conveyor, it is dropped while rotated about the rotating member at an angle approximately 90 degrees in the direction approximately perpendicular to the conveying direction, and loaded on the conveying face of the second conveyor with the changed attitude to be conveyed by the second conveyor.
