Abstract:

To provide a device which reduces the influence of a heat-exchanging tube on the fluidization property of the fluidized bed and is to be used together with the fluidized bed holding heat-exchanging capacity.

The device is for performing heat exchange with a fluidized bed, which is equipped with a heat-exchanging tube being positioned in the longitudinal direction of the axis of the fluidizing zone having a rectangular pitch where one side has a length is at least one and a half times as long as the other side and/or a triangular pitch having two sides each having a length at least one and a half times as long as the shortest side, and its method. This invention is especially suitable for an oxidation reactions using gas containing molecular oxygen under existence of the fluid bed of a fluidizing catalyst, for example, (a): acetoxylation of olefins, (b): oxidation of ethylene to acetic acid and/or oxidation of ethane to ethylene and/or acetic acid, (c): ammoxidation from propylene and/or propane to acrylonitrile, and (d): oxidation from C4 compound to maleic anhydride.
