Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser color marking method where a work is applied with a paint (liquid) containing metallic colloid of nano-level size, then the paint on the work is irradiated with laser beams so that the metallic colloid coheres, develops various colors including gold, and is utilized as a color marking.
SOLUTION: In this laser marking method, liquid mixed with metallic colloid is applied to the surface of a work material. The applied liquid or liquid dried after the application is irradiated with laser beams. Thereby, the colloid coheres so that the color marking is carried out.
