Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable even a display device which has a large screen and high resolution to display the screen fast by controlling a row electrode driver and a column electrode driver according to the comparison result of a row data comparison part.
SOLUTION: At a driver control part 5, for example, a row driver 2 selects row electrodes 25 to 27 at the same time according to data comparison results of respective rows of the row data comparison part 6 and a corresponding column driver 3 supplies a voltage corresponding to corresponding data to rows supplied with a select voltage. Consequently, the rows 25 to 27 display the same data. Row electrodes 23 and 24 are expected to be selected right after row electrodes 21 and 22, but row data indicate a white ground where there is no display content, so they are skipped. Then the driver control part 5 while skipping corresponding rows and selecting more than one row at the same time according to respective row data comparison results completes a display.
