Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture rings for use in an endless metal belt producing a little dimensional error.
SOLUTION: A ling slitting device 1000 includes a board thickness measuring sensor 1040 measuring the board thickness of a drum 1060 before slitting the ring, a control part calculating a cutting width to make the volumes of the slit rings same, a slitting positioning servo motor 1010 pushing the drum 1060 via a spacer 1030 to make the board width to one calculated by the control part, a slitting servo motor 1020 making the cutter 1080 abut on the outer surface of the drum 1060 and a drum rotating motor 1100 rotating the drum 1060.
