Abstract:
To provide a device and a method for measuring a compaction degree of an earth structure capable of measuring the compaction degree of the earth structure even in a sloped face or a narrow place.SOLUTION: A device for measuring a compaction degree of an earth structure is constituted of: a Schmidt hammer having a load plate provided at a tip portion of a strike portion and striking a surface of an earth structure; an accelerometer installed on the surface of the earth structure and measuring impact acceleration by a strike of the Schmidt hammer; record means connected with the accelerometer and capable of recording the impact acceleration measured by the accelerometer; and a measurement control device having density calculation means calculating a density of the earth structure from the impact acceleration recorded in the record means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
