Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact power transmission device and a method therefor, enabling obtaining a coupling coefficient only by phase measurement, without large-scale circuit reassembly.SOLUTION: A non-contact power transmission device transmits power in a non-contact manner from a power transmission unit to a power reception unit by magnetic field coupling between a primary coil for power transmission and a secondary coil for power reception, with an equal resonance angular frequency ω0 between the power transmission unit and the power reception unit. The power reception unit has short-circuit means for short circuiting the load of the power reception unit. Coupling coefficient measurement means provided in the power transmission unit calculates a coupling coefficient from input impedance phases to two or more different frequencies.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
