Abstract:

To provide a device and a method for OFDM signal reception which can reduce a bit error rate after decoding error correction code.

A subcarrier determinant discriminator 4-19-1 to 4-19-I set low threshold ThL (ThL≥0) to the absolute value of the determinant i (i=1 to I) of transfer constant matrix Si (i=1 to I) of N×N to 1 to I subcarrier which are calculated in a subcarrier transfer constant inverse matrix arithmetic unit 4-18-1 to 4-18-I, and discriminates the condition of i≤ThL. The switches 4-23-1 to 4-23-I are connected to the discrimination results of the subcarrier determinant discriminator 4-19-1 to 4-19-I. When the discrimination results is i≤ThL, all the output of the subcarrier interference cancellers 4-21-1 to 4-21-I to i-th subcarrier are switched output '0' of zero insert circuit 4-22-1 to 4-22-I.
