PURPOSE: To automatically perform piling-up of cylindrical bodies by providing a constitution such as providing a shutter means so as to traverse a plurality of rows of parallelly arranged guide members, narrowing a space each other of the guide members in a part just after this shutter means, and further twisting the guide member as an integral unit.

CONSTITUTION: A straightening guide 2 is provided in two rows, and when stack cans 3, 3' are introduced in two rows to travel by own weight thereof, the stack cans 3, 3' are meshed with a star wheel 4 and once stopped. Next, the star wheel 4, when placed free, is rotated by own rolling weight of the stack cans 3, 3', to transfer feed the cans 3, 3' with the axial line agreeing. Two rows of the straightening guides 2 are constituted so as to joint ahead, to fit a lower surface part of the can 3 to an upper surface part of the can 3'. The straightening guide 2 is 90° twisted ahead, and the cans 3, 3', left as placed in a fitting condition, are 90° twisted along the straightening guide 2, and drawn out in a two-step piled attitude so as to place a bottom surface part of the stack can 3' in the downward.
