To correctly and smoothly bend a part to be worked of a work by providing on a common base the axial direction position control driving device of the position control rod of a mandrel and the axial direction moving device of a holding part pulling the work.
Cylinders 14, 14 for pulling the holding part 17 and a cylinder 18 which is a mechanism for the position control of the mandrel 20 are provided on the common base 11. These holding mechanism and mandrel position control mechanism are integrated, and the common base 11 is moved in the directions of pulling and pushing working by the bend R part 2 of the bending die 1 of the work W. Therefore, the pulling and bending working and the position control of the mandrel can be synchronously performed while making them follow up. Also, by inserting the mandrel 20, bending knuckles 22 and rod 19 constructing a mechanism for the position control of the mandrel into the holding part 17, concretely into a holding part inner 16, they pierce through the inside of the inner 16. Therefore, holding working and the position control working of the mandrel are smoothly and surely performed.
