Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the stable separation performance by providing a control means to control a regulating means so that the lap quantity is the average value. SOLUTION: Bank notes are separated while the lap quantity of a feed roller 3 and a reverse roller 4 is changed by the prescribed quantity at a small rate. The upper limit value and the lower limit value of the lap quantity is obtained by a control means from the carrying condition. The median at which the bank notes are excellently separated is obtained from the upper and lower limit values. The lap quantity is increased from the median set through the regulation of subdivision. The bank notes are separated, and a judgment is made whether or not the average value of the intervals of the bank notes is not less than the prescribed value, and then, the regulation error is indicated when the average value is not less than the prescribed value, or when the duplicate feed is generated.
