Abstract:
To provide a device and method for stably removing one or both of bubbles and inclusions from conductive fluid to which an electromagnetic brake is applied.SOLUTION: A device 30 for removing one or both of bubbles P'' and inclusions T from conductive fluid Q'' placed in a reservoir 32 and in which flow is occurring comprises: pairs of application parts 14, 15, 16, 17 that are arranged spaced in a direction nonparallel with a vertical direction with the reservoir 32 sandwiched therebetween; brake generating means 12, 13 that are arranged at least two in different height to generate a direct-current magnetic field S in a direction from ones of the pairs of application parts 14, 15, 16, 17 to the others and provide a brake region to inhibit a flow of the conductive fluid Q'' in the conductive fluid Q''; and control means 33 that switches over between an on-state to provide a brake region and an off-state not to provide a brake region as to each brake generating means 12, 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
