Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method and a device for removing an attached artificial bone without inflicting an external wound on a patient necessary for receiving the correcting arthroplasty.
CONSTITUTION: A tool for the corrective arthroplasty which has had, at least, a part of a prosthesis to be removed filled with bone cement is provided with a circumferentially continuos ring main body 10 having a central hole 11 and a collect member 12 which can selectively engage an exposed part or a part to be exposed of the prosthesis 19 with the main body 10, and at least one ultrasonic drive part 20 having a central axis 21 of mechanical resonance is connected to the main body 10. The constitution can direct the central axis 21 in the diametrical direction inside in relation to the central hole 11 so as to transmit the ultrasonic wave vibration to the prosthesis 19.
