Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high retrieval matching rate even when a retriever is unfamiliar with vehicle model names.
SOLUTION: This device is provided with a means for inputting a vehicle name as a retrieval condition, a vehicle information data base for which vehicle types are key information, a model name table for storing the model names and vehicle types in correspondence, a means for retrieving a vehicle name from the model name table, a vehicle information data base retrieval means for retrieving information relating to the vehicle type corresponding to the model name, a retrieved result list display means, a specified vehicle selection means based on list display and a means for correlating the type of the selected specified vehicle and the inputted vehicle name and updating the model name table.
