To obtain a wireless device and method for voice conference which can typify signals passing through individual channels and prevent miscellaneous types of signal from mixing in individual channels.

A device for voice conference comprises a plurality of microphone units 10 and 20 grouped previously and outputting an utterance request signal, a master controller 30 for driving a speaker with a voice signal from the microphone unit, and a wireless communication means for a plurality of channels for transmitting/receiving a signal between each microphone unit and the master controller, wherein the channel of the wireless communication means is assigned to each group, to which the microphone unit belongs, and a section 38 for deciding whether a channel set for a group to which the microphone unit belongs is busy, in response to an utterance request from a microphone unit is arranged to permit the microphone unit to utter, if the channel is not busy, or to wait for an utterance request, if it is not used.
