To provide a device for obtaining biological information for a vehicle capable of more properly obtaining the biological information of an occupant of vehicle.

The device for obtaining biological information for a vehicle comprises an object detecting means arranged facing toward the upper body of the occupant of the vehicle and detecting an object by emitting a electromagnetic wave or a sonic wave and receiving the reflected wave and obtains the biological information of the occupant of the vehicle from the detecting result of the object detecting means, the object detecting means is constituted so as to vary an object detecting direction, and the device has a control means controlling the object detecting means so as to vary the object detecting direction in the object detecting means so as to scan a predetermined range at predetermined timing and fix the object detecting direction in the object detecting means in the direction determined from the intensity of the receiving wave received by the object detecting means in the scanning of the corresponding time until the scanning of the next time.
