PURPOSE: To set up a device for opening and closing the toaster door in a microwave oven with a toaster, which enables opening and closing the toaster door without using a handle, by providing a means of detecting closure of a toaster door, a means of driving the toaster door, and a means of controlling the toaster door.
CONSTITUTION: When a button for opening-closing the toaster door is pressed as required while a limit switch 12 is ON, a microcomputer 15 actuates a synchronous motor 11 for a first specified time so as to move a toasting net to the front; when the toasting net reaches the front position, the toaster door is opened and the toasting net is automatically stopped. When the button for opening-closing the toaster door is pressed as required while the limit switch 12 is OFF, the synchronous motor 11 is actuated to reverse the toasting net; when the toasting net reaches the back position, the toasting door is closed and the limit switch 12 is turned ON and one second later the synchronous motor 11 is stopped. The toaster door 4 can be opened or closed automatically by pressing of the button for opening-closing the toaster door, and safely even when the toaster door is hot.
