PURPOSE: To place can lids in a pile into a bag and package them without tumbling them.

CONSTITUTION: When can lids W in piles are loaded on a conveying way 21, the front sides of the can lids W are held by compressed air blown from a through-hole and a rivet and the rear sides of the can lid W are held by a rod 22a of a cylinder 22. Thereby, the can lids W in piles are kept from separating from each other. A bag is kept open by a bag opening device 23, and a rod-less cylinder 20 is brought in action to put the bag over the can lids W on the conveying way 21. Thus, the can lids W can be put into the bag as they are piled, and prevented from tumbling down or falling off.
