PURPOSE: To provide a mold positioning and clamping device that a mold for casting while pouring from the bottom under low pressure can be attached and detached at high speed.

CONSTITUTION: A mold 2 on a mold supporting plate 9 is supported with rods 7 and tappets 8 arranged in the rods, on an upper plate 6 suspended with a suspending jack 18 in a transfer means 4. The mold is fixed to the supporting plate with a clamping jack 12 and a clamping plate 11. The mold is transferred to the position matched to the centers of a pouring trough and a sprue with the transfer means, and a frame 1 is descended with the jack and the mold is pushed with the pushing force to a consumable intermediate device 15 arranged between the pouring trough and the sprue.
