PURPOSE: To position a panel having a bent part toward the slope of panel utilizing lowering operation for a first die by converting a pressing force generated by the approach of the first die to a second die to a horizontal pressure by the approach of the first die to the second die.
CONSTITUTION: The panel A with a bent part is placed on a lower die 1 and a pad 9 is lowered together with an upper die. A vacuum pad 23 projecting from the pressing surface 9BB of pad 9 is abutted on a part of the slope AA of panel A before the pressing surface 9BB of lowered pad 9 is abutted on the flat part and slope AA of panel A. The panel A with a bent part is supported by the vacuum pad 23 which is rotated together with a stay 27 around a shaft pin 20 which is inserted into the stay 27 so that the panel A is pressed by the vacuum pad 23. When the pad 9 is further lowered, a local member 10a which is provided on the pad is also lowered, the slope AA and the local member 10a approach with each other and a slide roller 25 which is abutted on them is pressed. The pressing force is transmitted to the vacuum pad 23 and the slope AA is further pressed.
