A server 1 is provided with a management information storing part 10 for storing information related to permission for the updating of common information, a control part 11 judging the updating permission of the common information based on the information stored in the storing part 10 and a common information storing part 9 for storing the common information in accordance with the judged result of the control part 11. A 1st client 2 is provided with processing parts 12 to 14 for processing respective information and an input part 18 for inputting the common information or the like and a 2nd client 3 is similarly constituted. Either one of the clients 2, 3 is registered as a main client under the control of the control part 11 and the common information is selectively updated.
