PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for eradicating an accident in which an accelerator pedal is pressed down instead of a brake pedal.SOLUTION: A device for preventing an accelerator pedal from being erroneously pressed down is provided on a brake press-down plate 4 so that braking can be vertically actuated and so that accelerator working can be horizontally actuated.
