PURPOSE: To prevent the strength variation and wiping of yarn by inclinably and returnably arranging the axial line of a bobbin carrier in a direction for pulling out the yarn so that the yarn is not bent at a pulling-out point.
CONSTITUTION: In the bobbin carrier C of the braiding device, an adjustable joint is formed of a depressed female member (j2) downward disposed on the lower surface of a support plate 10 on which a spindle S inserted into a bobbin (b) is vertically disposed and of a male member (j1) having at its tip a spherical member fitting to the above-mentioned female member (j2) and vertically disposed on a upper flange f1, and the adjustable joint is surrounded with a bellow- like elastic member 11. When a prescribed tension is applied to the yarn Y pulled out in the direction tilted toward a braiding point through a guide hole m2 perforated at the tip of a support column (m), the more upper part than the upper part 2 of the bobbin carrier C is tilted in the yarn-pulling direction on the adjustable point (J) to enable the smooth delivery of the yarn (y). When the pulling-out of the yarn is stopped and when the tension applied to the yarn (y) is reduced below a prescribed value, the bobbin carrier (e) is returned to an approximately vertical state due to the elasticity of the elastic member 11.
