PURPOSE: To provide a device for producing a chained sausage, etc., capable of detecting the change in the shape of a casing, of delivering the casing on the basis of the detection result, and of desirably filling a filling material into the casing without breaking the casing.

CONSTITUTION: A chained sausage-producing device is provided with a nozzle 3 having a raw material-extruding end 2, a raw material-feeding means 5 for intermittently feeding meat 4 into the nozzle, a control member 7 for controlling the separation of a sheep gut covered on the nozzle from the raw material- extruding end, and a controlled press means 9 for pressing the rear end of the sheep gut toward the raw material-extrusion end in a controlled state. The controlled press means is provided with a gut-pressing collar 15, a driving means 16 engaged with the gut-pressing collar to press the end of the sheep end toward the raw material-extruding end and otherwise cancel the press force directed to the raw material-excluding end, a shape change-detecting means 17 for detecting the change in the shape of the sheep gut, and a controller 18 for controlling the driving device to positively operate the driving device and otherwise reversely operate the driving device under a detection signal from the shape change-detecting means.
