Title:
DEVICE FOR QUANTIFYING AND SPORTING MOLTEN METAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3756040
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for spouting after accurately quantifying molten metal.
SOLUTION: The molten metal quantifying and spouting device is provided with a molten metal storing vessel for storing the molten metal, a closed vessel having a sucking part for sucking the molten metal into the inner part from the molten metal storing vessel and a spouting part for spouting the sucked molten metal to the outer part, a means for lowering the pressure in the closed vessel to suck the molten metal into the closed vessel from the molten metal storing vessel through the sucking part and a means for raising the pressure in the closed vessel to spout the molten metal from the closed vessel through the spouting part. Further, in this device, a liquid surface displacement sensor, with which the molten metal surface can be measured at the optional height by using a means for measuring the height of a member connected with a float floated up on the molten metal surface in the closed vessel, is provided, and when the molten metal is sucked in the inner part of the closed vessel, the stopping height of the molten metal in the closed vessel can be decided with the liquid surface displacement sensor, and the preliminarily set quantity of molten metal is quantitatively spouted.
