Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an animation recording device with which a still picture is displayed for a desired time.
SOLUTION: A changing means for changing the N parameter of MPEG (Moving Picture Experts Group) is arranged in the animation recording device, where an animation is compressed and recorded by applying an MPEG encoding system. Then the number of pictures in GOP(group of pictures) can be freely changed, and for example, flexibility in picture selection is improved, when a picture with satisfactory quality is selected from the animation and displayed as the still picture.
