Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for reforming fuel controlling and minimizing the amount of an oxidizing agent supplied to a carbon-monoxide remover.
SOLUTION: A device for reforming fuel equipped with an evaporator 5 vaporizing raw fuel and producing a fuel gas, means of providing raw fuel for the above evaporator 6 and 7, a reforming reactor 2 producing a reforming gas containing hydrogen by the reaction of raw fuel and an oxidizing agent, and a carbon-monoxide remover 4 removing carbon monoxide from a reforming gas by the reaction of a reforming gas and an oxidizing agent, is also furnished with a means 1 of regulating the flow rate of an oxidizing agent introduced into the above carbon-monoxide remover 4 based on the flow rate of a reforming gas and the concentration of carbon monoxide in a reforming gas, which enables the device to control and reduce to a minimum the amount of an oxidizing agent supplied to the carbon-monoxide remover 4, thus preventing superheating at the carbon-monoxide remover 4.
