To improve the adjustment of a headrest corresponding to the demand by an individual occupant in a device for relating a headrest to a safety belt device.
In a devcie for relating a height position of a headrest 13 belonging to a backrest 12 of a vehicle seat 10, to the pulling-out motion and the retracting motion of a safety belt device 18 by a belt taking-up device 22, the pulling-out motion of a belt band 23 is converted into the motion of the headrest from a lower non-operating position to an upper displaced operating position when an occupant sitting on the vehicle seat 10 uses the safety belt 20, and the retracting motion of the belt band 23 is converted to the reversed motion of the headrest 23 for returning to the non-operating position when the safety belt 20 is removed, the device includes a restricting device 48, and the headrest 13 can be fixed to the operating position by this restricting device 48. The headrest 13 is movable in the height direction with respect to the backrest 12 from its operating position, and can be restricted on a set position.
