Title:
DEVICE OF REMOVING CALCULUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3931051
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device of removing calculus by using an intercorporeal lithotripter which can fragmentate stones with a larger flexibility.
SOLUTION: A device of removing calculus by using a lithotripter is equipped with a metallic probe 8 energized by an electrically controlled ultrasonic converter. The ultrasonic converter generates vertical vibrations which fragmentate stones through a tip of the metallic probe 8. As the other means of fragmentating stones, the metallic probe 8 houses a sonotrode 20, which transmits shock waves generated by shock energy of a shocking part 22 driven to move back and forth, on the same shaft. The shocking part 22 transmits shock energy to a mass body 21 located at the base of the shock probe 20 by colliding periodically when it is chosen to drive to move back and forth.
