Abstract:
PURPOSE: To remarkably reduce the man-hours of operation to exchange a traveler and improve the productivity by automating the operation to remove the traveler fitted on a ring flange of a ring without requiring the man power.
CONSTITUTION: This device for removing a traveler is constructed from a traveler locating member 2 arranged movably back and forth toward a ring, a traveler removing pawl 11, arranged adjacently to the traveler locating member 2 and movable obliquely downward relatively to a ring flange 4 and a spindle driving mechanism 7 arranged movably back and forth toward a spindle 6.
