At the same time, a Y data driver 83 impresses a Y data signal 95 to the photosensitive element array 81. The Y data signal 95 is operated as a sensitivity control signal for a sensitivity variable photosensitive element 93 and the sensitivity control signal is stored in a capacitor 92. This processing is performed several times as many as a number (n) of arrays, the sensitivity control signals are stored in all the sensitivity variable photosensitive element arrays, an output signal 96 is extracted by emitting light emitting elements on the photosensitive element array and vector-matrix operation is performed.
