Abstract:
To provide a device 1 for separating a lumber package 2 into a main plate 3 and side plates 4.SOLUTION: Separating means 9 are engaged in a sawing gap 5 between a main plate 3 and side plates 4 upon conveyance motion of a lumber package 2 and are positioned so as to push the side plates 4 away from the main plate 3. The side plates 4 are placed above and/or below the main plate 3 during a longitudinal conveyance of the lumber package 2. Two conical rollers 9 rotatably supported as the separating means 9 are arranged, and each of the conical rollers 9 has a separating edge 13 formed by two rotational surfaces 11, 12 surrounding an acute angle in a circumferential direction. Further, both of the conical rollers 9 are placed on both sides of the lumber package 2, and each of the conical rollers 9 engages in the sawing gap 5 through its separating edge 13 from a lateral direction and rotates on the main plate 3 through first rotational surfaces 11, 12 as well as each of the conical rollers 9 is oriented so as to push the side plates 4 away from the main plate 3 on second rotational surfaces 11, 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
