To provide a music supporting device which supports more effective playing or singing by providing performance of an arbitrarily selected part, displaying a musical score and displaying moving images related to a piece of music in performing a piece of music which consists of a plurality of parts or in practicing singing.

A user of the device specifies a part which is to be reproduced as music, the part of the musical score to be displayed and the moving image to be displayed through a user interface 10. A selection section 14 selects and reads the specified part music data, part musical score data and moving image data from a storage section 15. An output control section 17 controls the output timing of music reproduction, musical score display and moving image display based on the selected data so that they are properly synchronized.
